This is just one method of survival, you also got skills, transfusion grenades, and support classes if you are in coop. Moxxi Weapons heal you for a percent of all damage done while they are in your hands, percentage changes depending on which Moxxi gun you have. To be a tank in this game, its all about health regen, and the easiest way to do this is to use Moxxi Weapons. You may say e cover and that is exactly what i do all the time : find a spot not accessable by enemies peek out pick em off one by one and that shouldn't be nesscesary with a charakter built to be tanky.Īnyway i mostly enjoy the game but balance is a big issue imho.(And don't get me started on droprates)Īlthough i will admit this game does have balancing problems, its only near the end of the game. They should get rid of this mechanic completely in a possible sequel and drastically tone down the incomming damage. You cannot build a tanky charakter.well you can but 30% more hp or more shields doesn't effect the game too much tbh. I think the problem is the balancing arround the "fight for your life"-mechanic wich is pretty stupid in the first place. The game is pretty easy because you can outsmart the ai easily but that doesn't make a good game imho.
Every single boss i encountered i used some kind of exploit (mostly positioning) to kill them because there are no actual mechanics, just oneshots. No matter how big my shield/hp is i almost get oneshotted by everything in this game.
